In the movie "Iron Man", why didn't Tony Stark just solve his problems by getting a heart transplant?
I know that in the movie, Tony Stark (Iron Man) had to wear an electromagnet on his chest to prevent the metal fragments from entering his heart. But when he got back to America, why didn't he just arrange for a heart transplant? That way it wouldn't matter if the fragments entered his heart... because he'd get a new one anyway. They could just do this all during surgery couldn't they? Anyone feel like sharing an explanation?
Because
1.The fragments were not in his heart the were Artie'sies on the way to the heart but the magnet repelled them
2.Without the glowy thing couldn'tent power the suit
3.He would have to take medication every day for the rest of his life if he got a new heart and couldn'tent do that it he was flying around the world
